Artistic threads have been woven throughout my life since I was very young, finding outlets in drawing, photography, culinary arts and woodworking. TODAY I find myself constantly looking for new creative expressions in the journey.
My background in woodworking has been diverse, from violin making to antique furniture restoration and reproduction, THEN EXPANDING TO MODERN DESIGNS. MY WORK HAS FOUND EXPRESSION IN hand carving and inlay WORK, IN BENTWOOD AND COMPLEX JOINERY, AND IN STEEL AND BRASS. I AM COMFORTABLE DESIGNING AND BUILDING PIECES RANGING from VINTAGE ELEGANCE to modern art. This extensive EXPERIENCE allows me to design pieces that are not locked into a single style or time period, but are timeless in their appeal.
when i am not designing or in the shop building, my time is filled with my wife & four kids, cooking for my family and friends, and when time allows, camping & hiking in the colorado mountains.
